My car got stolen and Im lookin for a cheap motorcycle to fill the gap for my last two years of school. I was wondering what would be a good bike to look into. Which one has cheap parts, and even used are known for being "turn key" meaning I dont have to do anything but turn the key and ride. I suppose i'll have this a while so id kinda like it to be respectable. under 2000? Id like to stay around 1000 but.. any suggestions on bikes? ratings? consumer feedback?

the bike is a 2005 kawasaki z750s ok here is what I have done so far I cut 6 inchs off the can to make it shorter and more sportyer looking I took out all the guts till just the alloy shell was left took it off tac welded and peice of 2 in stainless stell pipe to the inside and then but a baffle in which I turned around so the fins dont catch as much flow which makes it louder ( the louder the better) but now I am going to take it apart and weld caps to the front and back of the baffle so all the air goes into the baffle and not around the outside. I dont think I have enough back presure but the bike runs fine othere then in higher r's it doesnt seam to pick up as quick ( i know a re map is needed) as I left off the gas it gets that popping sound like older trucks do as they go down over a hill if you know what I mean so if any one can give me tips on what I can do to improve this experiment I would appericate it and if you wanna chat message me

the valves only hit my piston when there is a quick pull on the throttle and sometimes when using the kick start but under normal riding conditions or even if I'm going fast they don't meet at all...the problem started when we installed high compression piston and lengthened the duration on the cams..the piston has been modified several times to put deeper grooves so that the valves can't reach the piston and all though there is a difference they still do hit each other

Does any one know how the electrical system works on a motorcycle? I am familiar with the electrical system on an automobile using an alternator. I am having a problem getting a spark at the plug. Gaps on the plug are correct. I looked at the coil and it only seems to have “one side to it” unlike a car with two sides to the coil. Can anyone help me out in trouble shooting a spark plug with no spark? Thanks in advance for your help

Mechanic working in bike crossed spark plug wires and bike wouldnt start. Wires were correctly placed, and bike ran fine for a week. Now, ony cylinder is lost, only runs on three. Rough running, and stalling. Bike has 37,000 miles and is a "97 Honda Nighthawk 750. Could it be a coil or a spark plug?
Thanks in advance.
