I have both! If people would be more cautious of motorcycles, it would be awesome! I love my bike, and I ride everyday! Even rainy days I have rode. I don't ride my bike, just because their easier on gas, I ride because my heart is in it!
LOOK TWICE, SAVE A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO.
Give me a car over a bike ANYTIME!
I work an hour from my house I would have to start off at 4:00 am and I wouldn't get home until 8:00pm.
And if you mean a motorcycle, people don't watch out for them enough on the highway, I love my dirt bike but I'm nervous about other drivers out on the road.
Especially semis.

I thinking you mean "motorcycle", and not "bicycle" as some of the foregoing apparently assumed.
I think that, when the weather is fine, there is nothing better than a bike (motorcycle). And when the weather is bad - too wet, cold, hot, windy, or whatever - there are few forms of torture more heinous than a bike.
I have both, and use the bike in good weather and the car when it may rain.
Cheers.

Bike is better -
1. compare to car (i) Low running cost (ii) Less travel time (iii) Less parking fee.
2. When you travel in a car through a beautiful landscape the you can see nature through the window moving in front of your eyes like a moving picture of cinema. When you travel by bike you are a part of that cinema.
Bike is always better.

Not if you are using it for going more than a mile or two. Imagine how long your 35 mile commute would be everyday to work and back. It would suck to leave 2-3 hours before work then get home 2-3 hours after work, and not even being able to stop and get groceries!

I love my bike and would rather take it to work or any other destination in any weather. I have ridden during tropical storms and enjoyed the ride. As long as you're prepared it is a great ride.

They are good for recreational riding but not very practical. In my area of the country, you can only ride them for about 6 months out of the year.
They are not much fun when it's -20 F and the snow is waist deep.

Better in every way. The only problem is, you got to watch out for the soccer moms who think their cages are safe. They are the ones who can't drive worth a flip and depend on lots of metal to keep other cagers from killing them and their kids.

Absolutely not. They may be more fuel effecient with gas but when it comes to safety, a car gets my vote
