Hi.
The frame on my Ninja 500 that holds up the headlight and dials lost a screw and is now hanging. I replaced it with a bolt w/ a socket head but it will not hold. Someone said to use a lock nut. But it wont use a lock nut, it needs a bolt. Is there such a thing as a lock bolt? Should I have it welded? Use an over the counter product?

if your motorcycle license was suspended in one state for unpaid speeding tickets and a missed court date... can you simply move to a new state and get a license... starting fresh and being able to drive again?

Can anyone suggest an organised & professional motorcycle riding school in west London for a DAS course? I recently just wasted 120 quid for a CBT with a school that took my money and gave me no instruction. I'm hoping not to repeat the experience with the rest of my DAS work.

I live in the US and plan on taking a MSF course soon and getting my first motorcycle. I would like to eventually take road racing classes. Used 600 cc sport bikes seem to go for good prices, but I know they would have too much power(for learning on the streets and the track).

Does anyone have experience or advice about acquiring and using restrictor kits/throttle stops or other methods on a motorcycle to improve safety when learning?

Also, I am 6'2 and it sounds like many of the intro bikes may be too small. I would like to put a restrictor on something like a ZX6R or CBR600.

I recently bought an out of state motorcycle and a California DMV rep told me that it needs to be verified with the DMV before getting registered. I currently dont have any mirrors on the bike.. is that needed?

I am in the market for a motorcycle for my commute to school. Is there a huge difference in terms of gas mileage, compared to a smaller car such as a Civic?. Lastly, for those of you who respond, how long did it take to become comfortable while riding. I've never ridden a motorcycle before, I am however signed up for an MSF course.
