Yes, they are obnoxious whether you're driving down the street in your own car or relaxing at home. They don't wake me up at night, but do make it difficult to go to fall asleep. I really hate the supped up cars that sound like lawn mowers. A bigger exhaust system isn't the answer to make your car go faster. It just makes it louder and more obnoxious.

The people across the street used to have dirt bikes, but they moved. I work nights and they would wake me all the time. I hate loud motorcycles.

well I'm totally cool with loud motorcycles but I'm an enthusiast. i know that a pipe with a power band that more suites your riding style can be really helpfull if you like to ride fast just don't go overboard with the noise because it bothers most people
as far as the whole harly thing goes having a loud bike to have a loud bike is BS

i drive a loud mustang and a loud motorcycle, performance makes noise, it is only in the neighborhood for like thirty seconds until i get to the main streets
what i hate is people that mow there lawn at 6:00am sunday morning, that is way worse and it last for at least an hour

Harley motorcycles!! can't stand them,,,but they are not as bad as the cars with the loud booming radios that the dumb a**'s play that can be heard blocks away,,making your house vibrate,,or if you have to sit beside one of them at a stop light,,now thats when I would like a granade!!!!

Hey I am Crazy about loud cars in the sense Super Cars if I see one on street I will go mad & I will not get sleep at night.

Indeed. I don't get the Harley thing. They're obnoxious, rough running over priced bikes! I guess it's all about the image, though. The hell with anybody whose trying to sleep at 3:00 in the morning!!

Hot rods are like music to my ears. But if a car or bike is a loud piece of crap it bothers me.

Only if it's a HarDley or a 4 cylindar Jap car with a coffee can exhaust. Other than that, loud is good.
