I find bus drivers in London rude and miserable. No please or thank you. They also are very good at curtailing their route early so I have to get off and wait ten minutes for the next bus which is already full to the rafters, yet they never apologise or say why. If you don't like your job, do something else!

Just a typical Monday morning on the way to work. When out of nowhere a deer comes and used my front end as a jump board. I am just wondering how many other people have experienced that.

I want a service provider around HSR Layout/Agara area who runs school vans for picking and dropping young school children. A private cab with max 3-4 children is preferred. Safety and Security is the utmost consideration.

I had a couple of traffic questions I am not sure about.

1 - Who would have the right away?
Two cars pulling out of driveways RIGHT next to each other. Both hit the road at the same time. One car is turning left and the other is turning right. So they are positioned to hit each other. But who has the right away?

2 - Whose fault would it be?
I have noticed that many cars go back a little when they are stopped going up on a big hill and they start up again, it's a very common thing and not really something you can control (well, I mean a little roll back, not like 4 feet) even with very quickly switching from brake to gas. I have also noticed that a lot of people like to stop within inches of another person. So if a VERY small bump happened and the person who stopped way to close chose to make a fit about it, who would be faulted?

I was wondering how long it took to get a license when I'll be learning as a beginner. I can put the car into gear and gear shift but have never been on the road.
Have you any instructors you can recommend?

You only see these every so often, and they are always high up. There is no other markings on the sign, just horizontal black stripes of varying thicknesses like a bar code (no numbers though)

I'm looking at transferring to a new job in San Jose, CA. I've visited the Bay Area extensively, but I've never lived there. One thing I know is that I do not want to live in Silicon Valley.

Two nearby communities I LOVE are Santa Cruz and San Francisco (for very different reasons). But the commute time is a major consideration.

Now, Google Maps tells me that the Santa Cruz --> San Jose commute is 41 minutes, and the San Francisco --> San Jose commute is 50 minutes. But given that I'll have to commute during peak weekday times, those estimates don't consider TRAFFIC.

So, for any of you who have actually done one of the those commutes at peak times, can you give me REAL-LIFE estimates on average commute times, and how much variation there is from the average? Making the right decision on this will really affect the quality of my life....THANK YOU!
