Hi,
My mom needs to go to the hospital(advocate samaritan hospital ), for 10 days as an outpatient,she is not supposed to drive,we are in chicago suburbs,can i get any service i am ready to pay so that someone should drop her to the hospital and get her back home,the distance is 9.3 miles and waiting time is just 30 mins.Dunno whom to contact for this,called american taxi but its expensive,pls help

Pace has a service for this but it is very hard to get. You have to call them at 5am or something like that. go to http://www.pacebus.com

some hospitals have non emergency transport services..call the hospital..or whoever is the ambulance service..i know the American medical response has one..

and some hospitals do offer transportation
