I had a couple of traffic questions I am not sure about.

1 - Who would have the right away?
Two cars pulling out of driveways RIGHT next to each other. Both hit the road at the same time. One car is turning left and the other is turning right. So they are positioned to hit each other. But who has the right away?

2 - Whose fault would it be?
I have noticed that many cars go back a little when they are stopped going up on a big hill and they start up again, it's a very common thing and not really something you can control (well, I mean a little roll back, not like 4 feet) even with very quickly switching from brake to gas. I have also noticed that a lot of people like to stop within inches of another person. So if a VERY small bump happened and the person who stopped way to close chose to make a fit about it, who would be faulted?

I have a hard time with both of those answers. The distance behind the car in front is the second cars responsibility. Drivers Ed said a 100 years ago 1969 said to see the bottoms of the car tires in front. Second car will get the ticket for following to close. Next two cars turning onto the road left hand turn car has to make sure the right hand lane is clear before pulling out Hence Right of Way. Only when it is safe to cross one lane of traffic into the other left turning car can move. Left turn car ticketed for failure to yield right of way. Read the drivers Hand book for your state DMV has them for free in most states.

Well if someone comes up behind you and bumps you, then this would be the responsibility of the person who is sitting behind. With regards to both coming out of a garage at the same time and entering the road at the same time, then it is the responsibility of you both, one should wait and let the other one out, this i called being a courteous driver and if none of you do that then you both suffer the consequences!!

1. right of way. if the person in the other car is to your right then they have right of way. If not its you

2. the person who rolled would be at fault but with a 2 inch roll there wouldn't be any damage, thats what bumpers are for
