I don't own a car yet, and I really like Toyota's. In the near future I'm loooking into buying a new one that's in my budget. (I believe the Yaris is around $12,000) I heard the Yaris liftback and Sedan are pretty affordable? Are they any good? If not the Toyota's...what car would you suggest?

The last major model redesign was in 2004. Honda Odyssey did its redesigns in 2001 and 2005 but I don't know if Toyota is also on a four year cycle.

I have a 1999 Toyota RAV4 and the Toyota Dealer where I have my maintenance done has told me that I need to have the " Timing Belt " replaced because the RAV4 almost has 90,000 miles. Do I need to have the Timing Belt replaced? What could possibly happen if I don't have it replaced? What are the benifts of having it repaced, such as improved gas milage?

I do most work on my 2004 Toyota Matrix XR (oil, air filter, coolant, tire rotation, transmission fluid, etc.) and will need to change my spark plugs soon. Is there anything special I need to know about changing the plugs in a Matrix? Most cars I've worked on have been pretty straightforward, but I want to be sure before I do anything.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace a CV Axle on a car? Specifically a 1992 Toyota Camry. I got a quote for $300+ and am trying to figure out if that is as good as it gets or if its something that I can find somone with some car knowledge to fix??

Thanks for any feedback

I just purchased a 2005 Tacoma, I am getting no radio recetion on the AM band. The previous owner had the radio pre-wired for XM satilte radio, could that be causing the AM to not work. I was under the impression that they work seperate. Any suggestions would be appriciated. thanks

I own a 2001 Toyota Camry LE with a factory installed keyless entry system. My remote no longer works and replacing the battery didn't help. I have a new remote but it needs to be programmed. I was told this is fairly easy and can be done at home. When I googled it, all I found was the instructions on how to program a Honda remote. Please help. Thanks.

I'd really like an answer from someone whose certified or has had this experience w/ their own camry. I have a 1992 Toyota Camry (V6) with about 140,000 miles.

My camry recently began stalling. At first, when I crunk it up and shifted gears (from R to D) it would shake and make a noise like it was trying really had not to turn off. Now whenever I put it in drive and press the gas it jolts me forward. It also has begun to turn off on me in the middle of traffic (sometimes when I'm sitting idle at a light or sometimes when I'm actually accelerating). It has done this more frequently, on an average of about 4-5 times a day. I just had an oil change about a week ago (it was beginning to act funny before the oil change). I think it may need a tuneup (It has'nt had 1 since before Jan of '06) I don't wanna waste $150 on a tune up if there may be something else wrong. ANYTHING you can think of please let me know. Also, when in traffic it will put it in Neutral and it seems to work better.
