IM TRYIN TO BY PASS THE SPEED GOVENOR,A SPEED LIMITER KICKS IN AFTER 110 MPH AND IM TRYIN TO BY PASS THE SPEED LIMITER OR DISCONNECT IT HOW WOULD I DO THAT?

i have fully done my motor,and my car can do atleast 150mph, but this speed limiter is stopping me, so i need to figure out how to remove it or bypass it. i have full headers,cold air intake,down pipe, not cat. and exhaust. all thats stopping me is this damn speed limiter.

yup that didnt work, porsche guy is a genuis,it kept stating in second, but the weird thing was, the car still knew that i was goin 110 mph and kept cutting out, how did it know?i was thinkin the abs system told it i was goin 110 and told it to cut out,so i was thinkin about removing those.

it would set a check engine light,no speedometer.it goes by how many rpm it is doing.@110 look at your rpms,they are red lining.you would have to change the ecu or modify by having reprogrammed,tires and or differential gears to change this.

lol if your disconnect vehicle speed sensor, IF it has one in the transmission it will use the ABS signals instead from your wheel speed sensor of it will go into a failure mode and most likly stay in second gear until you fix it. the speedlimiter cannot be disconnected because it is programing in the ECU not a mechanical part. and theres not reason to exceed 110 is that car anyways, the suspension and aerodynamics does not provide enough downforce to make it safe and your tires are not rated to exceed those speeds!!! it would be extremly unsafe, it is a family sedan! not a sports car!!! so please while there are ways to do it and someone may tell you how, i won't, so please don't, its not safe.

Why would a sedan need to exceed 110mph? :-S
