The kit had to be fitted by a body shop, but there is no room for the turn signals. I've seen where the turn signals are supposed to fit on other cars with the same kit, but the actual plastic bumper behind the "nose" is right in the way. Is there something that I can do besides removing the plastic bumper completely? All of the lines are perfect so I know that it is in the right position. The turn signal placement seems to be the only problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a 2000 mazda protege... above the defrost vent in the center of my dash the windshield is fogging up. And if I turn the heat to the floor all of the windows fog up. It's not leaking onto my floorboards. My coolant level is at the low mark. Could it be something besides the heater core? I can't find one anywhere, except the dealer for over $200!!!! Autozone, Carquest, Napa... none of them can even special order it.

I just got a '96 mazda mellinia, it runs well. My air condition systems but the only problem is its not giving out any heat, I have taken it to the several machanic shop and I have been told that it could be my heater coil. Auto store like pet boys and autozone say they dont have a heater coil in stock and they done even sell it. As you all know the winter weather is very close, and am wondering how and where to fine a heater coil. I have contacted some mazda dealers in my area but they planing to order it for me for a very large amount, therefore if any one have an idea of how I can get a heater coil for my '96 mazda mellinia, hit me up and let me know. I will greatly appreaciate any help in this regards. Its a '96 mazda mellinia, 2.3L supercharged.

Hi,Before normal running temp engine runs faultlessly. However, once the temp is normal, pressing on accel pedel causes rpm's to increase for moment of a sec before the revs die off (above 2000rpm not at idle), again for a moment of a second, revs then rise again before falling back off and so on. It is possible sometimes to get past this point but then it just happens again above 4000rpm. Once the engine has cooled again there appears to be no problem, until the temps rise again. Using jumper wire method in diagnostic box has no effect on symptom and no fault codes are logged. If I connect a inductive timing gun to the underbonnet battery feed and the other wire to a ground point and the clamp over one of the plug leads (or even put it near the leads) then the problem goes away as soon as you press the timing trigger. Release the gun trigger and the problem comes back. I changed leads and plugs for new ones today but hasn't changed the problem at all!
please help undriveable. John

I have an RX-8 with the 18-inch aluminum wheels. I have a problem with keeping air in one of the rear tires. The tires are almost bald and I am replacing them next year. If I use a can of fix-a-flat, will that do any damage to my tire pressure monitoring system in the valve stem? It will be stored for the winter and not sure what to do. I just don't want it sittting flat all winter!

The dealer told me that the car would pass california emissions despite the fact that the same car in Cali would be purchased with a different "PZEV" emissions standard. I really get the impression that the dealer is being dishonest with me when he says that all mazdas would pass california emissions. If this is the case, then why sell a different model in california? Thanks for your answers!

I will be buying a new car in the next couple of weeks and initially decided on the Mazda3. I went to the dealership for a test drive and wound up in a Mazda6 also. The Mazda6 is incredibly roomy and the models I'm looking at in either category of the car are comparable as far as features go. I like the appearance of the Mazda3 better than the 6. I like the way the 3 drives in comparison with the 6. I like the EPA gas mileage ratings on the 3 better. But, I like the interior of the 6 better. Also, the 6 would save me a little extra time and possibly money when it comes to installing stereo items.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these cars? Any things to watch out for with either model? Blind Spots? Quirks?

I got about 30mpg when I brought home the car two years ago but within the last 6 months or so the mileage has gotten worse. The worse mileage I saw was 22mpg I then changed the air filter and oil/oil filter and I recorded 24mpg. Please make suggestions on how I can improve my gas mileage. Again the car has a 2.0L and 50,000 miles. Thank you!

I already tried using a jump wire from the "10 to GND" in the Data Link Connector as advised in the shop manual on "mx-3.com", it just blows a fuse...and the fuse it blows is for "fuel injection". It can't be this difficult to set timing in this car (or is it?).
