I'd like an exact answer please, with website to back it up. I tried to owners manual online, and it wants personal information in order to view that information. I don't like putting personal information online, and it's too much trouble just to find out the EXACT size of the tank. Thank you though...still looking for the right answer.

I am not a big fan of any car that the manufacture has to come up with a new brand name to sell. Scion is just a different name for Toyota that came about because Toyota wanted to appeal to a new income bracket and market group. Toyota was lagging sales because of customer dissatisfaction so Toyota borrowed a page from the GM play book- just make a new brand. After all GM did this when it formed the Saturn group. Get the Mazda- they at least are not trying to fool you with a different name for the same warmed over car. The only line of cars that had problems in the Mazda family either had a rotary engine or were produced with the assistance of another Japanese firm (MItsubishi). Over all I think you will be impressed with a Mazda 3- but test drive them both before making up your mind.

Use the owners manual selection on the mazda page. Look under specifications and it will tell you gas tank size. Online owner's manuals are a great new feature to the website!

most cars have a 13 gallon tank...not positive on all models. but that is the norm.
