HEY MY NAME IS CHRISTINA. I WORK AT A MAZDA DEALER AS A SALESPERSON AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE MAZDA 323 IS A GOOD CAR BUT IT IS DISCONTIUNED AND IF IT IS A 1996, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY VALID WARRENTY CAUSE IT IS 10 YEARS OLD. THE BEST CAR TO CHECK OUT IS EITHER THE MAZDA SPEED 6 OR MAZDA 3. YOU WILL HAVE BETTER LUCK THERE. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTION CALL ME AT 718-748-3636 AND ASK FOR CHRISTINA. They're pretty good cars, reliable and look pretty decent, but they are GROSSLY overpriced!! To get a decent 1996 one your looking at 4 figures. Thats completly unacceptable unless your talking BMW, Masarati, Jaguar, Mercedes or similar. If you can get a good one for around £500 go for it, there will be another idiot willing to offer much more if you don't like it, but no average 10 year old car should be as expensive as they are.

I have a 323 f(97) It's a good car,but parts and servicing are expensive. They are quite fast,but thirsty if you buy above the 1.5 engine, I brought mine because it was shiny and sexy(Plus the misses ordered me to)

i was told that as mazda lo longer make cars you can get a bargain so shop around
any japanese or german car is a reliable car ive had a few and theyve always been good runners avoid french cars

It depends on what youy are using it for. It is an overall good car but you may want to do a car fact report on that specific car, of course.
