The price of the Jeep is not bad but I don't know about those cars. Are they good after 120K or I should look for Toyota? I know Toyota trucks are good I own one.

Jeep Wranglers are great. You can have a 1999 or a 2005 and they both look just as good. Lots of add on items and you can take off the top. I drove through Beverly Hills and their was Jeeps parked next to Rolls... because a JEEP is a JEEP. Best thing I every bought !!

My friend said they don't handle very well in the snow, because of the short wheelbase (as compared to a full size SUV).

I'm looking for a good manual Jeep Wrangler 2.5l YJ in the south or east midlands of the UK. Ideally it won't have been off-road much, will have a good soft roof and won't be modified. I'm happy to consider a LHD personal import from Europe or USA.

I am offering a swap for my 2002 Daihatsu YRV premium - red, 1300cc VVT engine with less than 35k miles, A/C, ABS, glass panel roof, service history in excellent condition - this car usually gives around 45mpg. (Different to the Jeep, eh?) It is worth around £3500.

If you are interested in looking, I can send pictures, etc. Please email me

I have a 2000 Wrangler and I am getting only 12-14 MPG. Is this the way it should be or can something be fixed and adjusted so I can improve milage? Any suggestions would help out a great bit as gas is now over $3.00 a gallon. Thanks.

I went to a Jeep dealership nearby yesterday and the salespeople had no idea. They were trying to push me towards a 2006, which is different than the redesigned 2007.

Thanks!

I've heard that the frame on the new 2007 Wrangler is "100% stronger", but I've also heard the new Wrangler is based on a unitized body. None of the articles I've seen address this.

Call me old fashioned, but pound for pound in an off-road vehicle, I want a full frame. Marketers can say what they want to, and often do in excrutiating length but with no detail, but a simple Full Frame or Unitized body, which one?

Thanks

I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee and only have 23000 miles on them. The dealer says I need to replace the pads already. Isn't this a bit soon? How long should they last under normal conditions?

I go to Walmart and change the oil in my jeep every 3000 miles. They put in whatever they have, I think it may be penzoil or quaker state, They change the filter and off I go. Should I be putting some kind of special oil in my vehicle or does it really matter?

If I tighten up the gas cap, it goes off. The light is on more than it is off. Recently, I had to buy a new choke sensor, and the freaking jeep was running terrible and almost left me stranded, but the engine lite never came on. My jeep is a 2003 model.

I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport and sometimes when I turn it on, it sputters. After the initial sputtering, it evens out and I start driving...it sputters a little bit more then is good until I turn it off. It depends how long I have it off...sometimes it starts right back up and other times it takes a while to start. If it takes a while to start, it sputters...if it starts within a short amount of time, it usually does not sputter. What could it be?
