Simply stated,,look at the repair order you signed, you would have had to have at the very least, acknowledged(with signiture/initials) the work performed on your vehicle before any work was performed.

I cannot stress enough that if your not completly sure on what exactly is being repaired and how much its going to cost,do NOT sign the repair order and get a second opinion or at the very least, ask someone you trust who is INFORMED about vehicle repairs.

Now,,if you did not sign a work order, you technically do not have to pay if they performed any work.

In the end,,it`s your responsability to know whats being done on your vehicle.

Good luck!

Take the vehicle somewhere else. If the next person asks for the same amount you way want to consider another car.

take it to other repair shops and ask their opinions. But only if they give free quotes.
