With a 302 block, is it possible to get 450 to 500 hp without a supercharger or turbocharger? Of coarse bore it out and stroker kit, bigger cam (of more mods too many to name)

I have a 91 Bronco 302 efi that has been having a problem with the egr valve, Ive did test on the valve, it opens and closes, holds a vacuum, and the sensor it reading right, just wondering if the vacuum tree, (on upper intake manifold) which supplies vacuum for the whole truck, is suppose to have a built in check valve. The only thing I have not check is the egr controll solenoid,, but its only about 4 years old. If the tree is suppose to have a check valve built into it, its not working.

I cannot find a fuse that is blown. Headlights, emergency flashers and blinkers work as well as brake lights. I know those lights are the same bulbs as the marker and tail lights, so what gives? I need to get this fixed before this weekend because I am traveling for the hoidays.

I'm having a hard time starting it and the last two times I tried to start it, I heard a "clunking" noise and once I got it going I had a rough idle. I noticed that my coolant was REALLY low. I just topped it off and will check it in a while to see if there's a leak. There's no coolant on the ground so I hope it's not internal. I know it's not the battery and the oil isn't low. This is on a 1996 Thunderbird; any ideas of what it could be??

I have a 1966 Lincoln Continental with a 462ci 7.6L Long Block in it (yea I know, its a boat but will look nice when bagged w/ suicide doors).

I want to make it a daily driver after I have this shop do the rebuild work. I will be doing front end work, springs, shocks, etc. I want to make it an electronic ignition so I can add a auto starter and alarm. How can I do this and what else should I possible make the car perform better as a daily Driver?

Also on a side note, Does anyone know a local shop that can take out my 462 engine and put it back in when its rebuilt? I am in the Washington, DC area. So Northern Virginia and most parts of Maryland would work Best. I got quoted $1300 and looking for a reputable shop that's cheaper. There phone # would be appreciated.

i have recently acquired a ford mondeo DX 2003. This week, the light that looks like a snowflake (the middle light of 3 - round circles - above the temp gage on dash) has stayed on the colour orange, when starting my car and whilst driving. Somtimes the snowflake light on dash is red then goes to orange or ocasionally goes back to red or off altogether! I dont know what this symbol means, but i have done 150 miles today down motor way, the light was on red to start with for about 1/2hour then then went to orange and stayed on all the way back. Please help does anyone know what this symbol; means? Is it somethiong to do with the temperature in the air as it has been very cold today!! HELP !!

How much added horsepower would I get in my 1966 mustang with a stock 289 2bbl if I upgraded my stock 2 1/4 dual exhaust to a Dual flowmaster 40 series 2 1/2 pipes with a H pipe and 2 1/2 aftermarket Headers. I am also adding a hi flo filter with a Edelbrock housing.

1966 Mustang - 6 cyl. 200 inch motor
It's been rather cold out (around 32-40 degrees) lately. During this weather this season, my mustang won't start very kindly. She's been having a rough start; I had to turn on/off about 5 times earlier today until she ran good at idle. I started driving and then she died and I was able to turn her over, only I had to keep giving gas or she'd die. By the way I have 1/4 tank gas that I put in yesterday. I put her into drive and she died so she wouldn't run unless I gave gas in park or neutral. I was called away for a couple hours and now she won't turn over. The starter turns and so does the fan. I gave her some gas while starting and she'd sound like she almost will start but instead die. I replaced the fuel filter last month. Any ideas?

4 months ago I had a friend give me NGK irdium IX spark plugs for 20$ for my 98 ford escort zx2. Recently I took it to a ford dealership to get a headlight fixed and they went through my engine without my consent, changing my plugs. They said that they ruin the engine and it will cost alot of money to get it fixed blah blah blah... I really miss the old plugs, is it true that they hurt the engine???
