looking at a 96 bronco... when they were still a TRUCK... was wondering about the towing capacity? I pull a 16 foot stock trailer, usually with 1 horse, sometimes a full load.

If the Bronco is automatic trans and has the 5.0L it is 6600 lbs. If it has the 5.8L it is 7000 lbs. With a manual trans it is 3000 lbs.

6600 and 7100 pounds depending on engine. However the 5.0L will struggle with that much of a load, I would say that 5000 pounds would be the practical limit for the 5.0L. The 5.8L has quite a bit More torque. Also keep in mind that the Bronco has short wheelbase, which makes towing trickier, it'll be more unstable than a long-bed pickup would be, trailer brakes are a must as well.
