Will I go through more gas with my hubs locked driving in 2 wheel drive?

Yes. When the hubs are locked in you are locking in the front differential so you will use more fuel to drive the front AND the rear wheels. Only use 4WD when needed to conserve fuel.

With the hubs locked you're turning the front axles and transfer case which adds drag, therefore requiring more power which requires more fuel. With the hubs unlocked, only the wheels turn.

Well first of all their both right in a sence....... Which ever way you decide to go it is better to do both exhaust and intake. Its not bad to do one or the other, but doing both will give you the highest increase of HP. Like the other poster said the next best way is the CHIP or a Programmer both do the same thing, as for the changing water pumps and such........ The increace wont be anything to even notice. If all else fail supercharge the PIG!

you will use more fuel and cause more wear on those hubs... not a good idea
