A while ago i threatened to take ford to court because they wouldn't stand by their warranty terms.
My grievance was that they wouldn't replace the wheels on my car as they had got marks on them because the varnish had broken down and water had got to the alloy.
Anyway it seems my threat of a law suit worked as they are now going to replace my wheels.
After all that , my question is,am i within my rights to ask for a years guarantee on the new wheels?after all if you have a new pump fitted to your washing machine then it's guaranteed for 12 months isn't it?

I've been told that the best way to disable the door ajar alarm is to unplug the alarm maker under the dash for a for 2007 E-350.

I need a little help in locating it,as I am unfamiliar with it's location or appearance. All I know is that godawful thing is annoying and I want it dead. I wasn't able to find any schematics in the E-series owner's manual specifically pertaining to it.

Any help?

i need to know if anyone knows of a site that sells a stroker kit for the 4.6L V8, prefferably with H beam rods and 10:1 compression ratio pistons or lower. im looking to twin turbo a DOHC aluminum block V8, and im afraid that the stock crank will flex to much at high revs. i plan on daily driving it, and in my opinion the rough idle is a fair trade for reliability.

I have been told the Ford 289 will rev higher then other small block Ford V8's. Mine is a rebuilt 1967 289 with a hydrolic race cam, 30 over 11 to 1 pistons, Moly rings, alum. rods and a cast crank. Heads are stock castings , ported with a three angle valve job, duel springs, heavy duty retainers, roller rockers & stud girdles, moly push rods and guide plates.

While driving my wife heard a large bang and the car went into Low 4WD. She did not turn the controller to L4WD. She didn't know what happened and drove the car home for about 4 miles at 30 MPH. Once she got home, I noticed the L4WD was on, but the switch was in AWD position. We got the car out of low 4 wheel drive by putting the car in nuteral and turning the switch to low 4WD and then back to AWD. I've switched it through the 3 drives and it seems to be working properly now. Any advice?

When I bought my truck 2 mos. ago I had to pull up on the steering wheel to start it. Now When I turn the key It starts but the key switch doesnt disenagage the starter. Sometime when I bump the steering wheel the truck shuts off. The steering wheel is also loose. Can this be the bearings in the steering wheel or the Ignition/Key Switch? I have a 1981 Ford F100

I drove home last night behind a Ford Focus who was then behind a Renault van who was behind an Astra. Of the three - all diesels - the Ford pumped out black smoke every time it accelerated whilst the other two didnt. Being on a motorbike at the time, the stench was quite overpowering and as there were no overtaking opportunities I tried to stay well out his smoke and it was so good to have him turn off in the village. I know they do tests for diesel smoke but I have the impression that Fords are particularly bad in this respect.

The first Ford Mustang was made in 1964. All of the Mustangs from the '60s were remade in 2006 and 2007.

Which Mustang shows true muscle? My opinion? The new Mustangs have got no personality. And on the inside, it's like a computer.
