i need to know if anyone knows of a site that sells a stroker kit for the 4.6L V8, prefferably with H beam rods and 10:1 compression ratio pistons or lower. im looking to twin turbo a DOHC aluminum block V8, and im afraid that the stock crank will flex to much at high revs. i plan on daily driving it, and in my opinion the rough idle is a fair trade for reliability.

i was hoping to start with around 15 psi, in the end id hope for 35-45 psi from a 75/55 sequential turbo setup. my goal is around 1200 horsepower. i know low comp is better for the engine, but i think id like to try for as high compression ratio as possible.

i should have mentioned that im planning on shoving this into a miata. its great in a cobra mustang, but the stangs are heavy and handling isnt the best, so im thinking id follow in mr. shelbys footsteps and stuff the 4.6 into a miata and try to twin turbo the beast. i know its been done with the 302 5.0 from the fox body stangs, but im still looking for anyone thats done a 4.6 into a miata.

a death wish? no... i just wanna go fast! and besides, i think it would be pretty cool to rev the engine at a stop light and scare the living crap out of the little ricers and vette heads that pull up, then burn them down the line xD

You may want to reconsider your compression ratio depending on the amount of boost you are planning on running. Post how much boost you are going to run and I can give you a better idea.....might want to consider 8.5 or 9:1. Good luck with your stroker

I agree with 65stang. 10:1 is too high. And 1200 hp in a little miata as a daily driver?!? You must have a death wish.
