i had a third key programed for my remote start. All that was done is with truck off, stick first key in turn key to ON, turn off, stick in second key turn to ON, turn off, stick in third key turn to ON, turn off. DONT start your truck with any of the keys until the procedure is complete
Now try the new key that you hopefully just programmed. It should start your truck now

The procedure the first answer mentions will work if you have two programmed keys, if not you are going to end up at the dealer so they can program the key using their diagnosis computer system.

To program a spare key requires that two keys are already programmed, and you must have them at hand. If you have only one, the dealer must add more keys for you.

I think key on key off only works on key fobs , So try it , It might work remember this you can only program so many, hope this helps.
