The basic warranty exp 2/06. The powertrain warranty exp 2/2010 or 70,000 miles. Will the powertrain warranty cover the replacement of the thermostat & the control arm bushing (arm to the wheel for the front arm)? On 7/2005 the coolant fan was replaced. Should the problem for the thermostat been detected at that time? Should ALL (front & back) control ams be replaced at this time? This is for a 2003 pt crusier gt turbo edition.

Yesterday I had my radiator replaced & then my car began to overheat. Once I got it home. I had the thermostat changed. Then I drove it later in the evening once I turned the heat on it began to overheat and I had to pull over & park my car until it coold off enough for me to drive it home. As I was driving it home without the heat on the temperature began to drop very slightly.

I have a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica that i just bought recently. it has 42000 miles on it. While driving, I notice that the gas pedal "sticks" apparently when you press on teh gas. Is that normal or is that a flaw that needs to be fixed?

Is it just me or is Jeep dead? To me it started with dumping the Cherokee in 2001 in favor of the Liberty. (Side note the new 2008 Liberty is a reworked/refaced Dodge Nittro.) Now there is a Compas(Dodge Caliber), the Patriot (front wheel drive) And the bigger soccer mom friendly mini van V6 powered Jeep Wrangler.
A Jeep (I'm talking orig open air type vehicle) is a vehicle that when you take it off road one can hose it off inside and out. It is a vehicle that the owner can work on and modify him/herself w/out an advance degree in enginering from Brown. I'm not saying that the won't Wrangler be a good off vehicle. I just think that none off roaders shouldn't have such a big influence on how the JEEP should ride or if it should have all the creature feature as the H2 or H3( over priced Tahoe and Cayan).
Then there is Chryslers stupid "Trailrated" badge. Marketers suck! Is your Jeep better than my jeep because it has a badge? No! Its just a sticker!

Bought my 2001 Chrysler Voyager only 5 months ago, haven't even done 10,000 kms in it and it ground to a halt during a trip interstate..mechanic has found metal filings in the transmission, the fluid was still a nice pinky red colour, so not cooked, but definetely in big trouble! I am wondering if anyone has heard that these Voyagers have a problem with the transmission??? Quotes for a reconditioned transmission is from $2500 to $7000, a new one $7000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOT happy Jan! The dealers are saying their extended warranty will only honour repairs upto $1700. Any ideas how to fight this one??

This is the thing that locks the doors on the mini-van when you travel about a half a block. I think it's loose, causing me problems, but don't know how to find it. Thanks.

No doubt about it, one of the biggest mistakes was Mercedes-Benz buying Chrysler, and trying to morph it into something Americans are not interested in. The osmosis from Detroit poisioned what was once the benchmark from the company that invented the automobile, and MBZ learned nothing from this except recently to fire the bean-counter in charge who's only vision was reporting numbers to the stockholders for the next quarter(just like Ford and GM are in trouble). Once a company goes public in America, your just an errand boy doing tricks for trickle-up economics.

Who's taking bet's that within 2 years, this marriage made in hell will be over, and each side can work their respective side of the fence.

If there taking bet's in Vegas, I'll put down a G-note that this will all go the way of the dinosaur.
