While a convertible is best, followed by a 2 door hardtop, if the Chrysler is a 4 door hardtop it may be worth a bit for you . . . if it's just a 4 door sedan, probably not much. You say you don't have the key . . . do you have the title to it . . . that's more important. How well does it run, rust, etc. Condition is more important than mileage. The 440 engine is a good thing; popular for use in more sporty performance cars of the era . . . if that engine is in good shape, and it's a sedan, someone may buy the car at a decent price for the engine/drivetrain. As for an exact amount, it can be worth anywhere from $100. to several thousand, depending on the factors I've indicated. Best wishes, and if I can be of further help email me. I'm not an expert on car values, but have been in the collectible car literature business 33 years.

65 4-dr newport with 440... Hmmm, that car with a 6 cyl would be worth $1500-2000 in good driver condition. With the 440, car is worth $3000-4500 if it will start and drive. 7000-10K if its really cherry, good paint, good interior, good tires, good brakes. If its been in storage, and its really run down, then much less.

You sure its a 440? Most of them had 383s. You'd have to check the car's VIN and the engine block codes to find out what engine is has.
