take door panel off and replace rear window motor if window does not work.It may also be a bad widow switch, or broken window regulator.either that or pay a shop about 2 -3 hrs labor plus parts price . Around 300 bucks if it is a motor or around that depending on price of part and labor rate of shop. let a pro do it.

Hello, well if the steel wire is broken you are into $100-300 including the motor. Sorry but an honest mechanic will tell you that those sebring are good car for rentals only. Expect to blow your tranny real soon. My suggestion Sell that crap. and buy a nice Honda Civic '07 and forget all mechanicals troubles ..Yes!

See if you are getting power to the switch, if not back up to the fuse box, or circuit breakers, if you are getting power to the switch, check for power to the motor. If the motor is getting power and does not make noise, the motor is bad. If the motor makes noise, the gear in the motor is probablly bad.
