This is the thing that locks the doors on the mini-van when you travel about a half a block. I think it's loose, causing me problems, but don't know how to find it. Thanks.

Doesn't have a sensor, it is built into the computer. In '95 there was a way to program it to turn it off auto-lock feature. Check your owner's manual if you have one.

I don't remember the procedure for sure, but try the following:

Close the doors and put the key in the ignition,
turn the ignition switch on/off four times (to the run position, don't start it) stopping in the off position,
within 10 seconds of the final cycle, press the interior driver's door lock switch to the lock position,
you should hear a chime letting you know it was successful in programming.

If this doesn't work, then call your local dealer, they should be able to tell you how.
