do you need 2 cat converters? or do you come off the engine with one line, into a single cat converter and then the muffler ...then into 2 exhaust pipes? thank you.

that old 83 chevy truck I had, we thought it was a 305 and my friend said he wanted the heads, but when we found out it was a 350 he didnt want em. Ive heard talk about 305 heads are good. why is that?

For some reason, the heat wont kick on unless im driving over 30MPH when Im going above 30 its fine but when I start the car or travel at speeds below 30 it wont heat and just blows out cold air from the vents Any ideas?

It's a family sedan for Chevy. Some standard features are 19" alloy wheels, a V-8 engine, leather seats, a trip computer,wood trim, in-dash 6-CD changer, and a rear spoiler, along with rear window privacy glass. What should I call this, what can be some optional features, and trims? I design cars from my dealership, and I like to find out what people like.

I just bought a 92 S10 blazer (4.3L, V6, Vortec) and I was wondering if they are any good at off roading since they are 4x4. My dad says that the aren't and a friend of mine says that if I try to go off roading it might get stuck. Do they know what they are talking about?

A FRIEND OF MINE GAVE ME A 1968 CAMARO, BUT IT USE TO BE A 6 CILINDER IT HAS NO MOTOR NO MORE.
THE TOP IS RUSTED. IS IT WORH FIXING IT UP?
WHAT CAN I DO TO IT? I WAS THINKING OF FIXING IT UP ALL THE WAY AROUND AND PUTTING A BIG ENGINE, BUT IM NOT SURE IF ITS WORTH IT? IT HAS A 10 BOLT REAR END. HELP PLEASE!

92 Caprice will occasionally stall with no warning & will not restart immediately.
-Has new fuel pump with more than enough pressure past the filter.
-Within the past year has had ignition coil, TPS, IAC valve, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor with ignition module & pick-up coil all replaced.
-Engine will run for over an hour sometimes & five minutes others before stalling. Then the engine will crank but not fire & has good spark to the plugwires but no injector pulse. However if you spray carb cleaner below the throttle plates, engine will start & injectors will begin firing again for a few minutes & will stop firing again causing another stall. Are there any GM techs who can explain to me what besides the ECM & pick-up coil controls injector pulsing? And has anyone ever encountered this before? Should I replace the ECM and if so will I need to have a GM dealer program it? or can I just swap the chip from the old one to the new ECM?

It ran hot twice and i noticed that my fans are not coming on. Are they supposed to and if so why are they not. I need some good advice here. How much would it cost to fix it. Drove it today and it never ran hot.

i have a car with a chevy 350 v8 in it. it's not my daily driver, and i kind of want to put a more powerful engine into it, so lately, i've been seeing just what the old 350 can take. Today, I drove 4 miles down the straight highway with the gas floored, all the way. Then, when there was no traffic, i stopped in place, held the brake down as far as i could, and floored the gas. i pretty much burnt the right tire off the rim. Then, when i got home, i sat in the driveway revving the engine to 6,000 rpms, and then put it in drive, put the E-brake on completely, held the normal brake down as far as i could, and floored the gas. it stayed right at 1,500 rpms and it sounded like it was under a HUGE load. the tires weren't spinning or anything. Keep in mind, i don't want to blow up this engine by draining the oil, just running the hell out of it. How hard was i on this engine today?

Its a 75 chevy, the heat works good, believe me. what can I do to keep the windows from foggin up so bad in the rain? when the defrost is on, it makes things worse. It dosent have A/C.
