you have o2 sensors in the exhaust pipe after the exhaust manifold. there is none in the converter. if you feel like the converter is a problem, take it off and bust the rock out of it. make sure it's all cleaned out then reinstall.

The cat doesn't have O2 sensors, there is an O2 sensor but it is in the exhaust manifold near the engine.

the o2 sensor is between your motor and the convertor. It will have some wires going to it, your truck does have one.
