Is a 1980 corvette available with a 385 ci engine? If so, what is its horsepower? I also want to know the horsepower of a 1980 corvette 350 ci.

There is no (factory) 385 ci eng in any Chevy. Someone may have built the original 350. The 350's of that era were not exactly pavement burners, even in Corvettes.

In 1980, the base L48 had 190 horsepower, and the optional L82 had 230 horsepower. Those were the only two engines available. If you lived in California you had to get a 180-hp 305.

You had your choice of a 350 or a 350. That was the only engine available back then. You could get a L-82 or a L-48 option. I think the L-82 gave you around 15 more HP.

the 385 is most likely a stroker. the vette was only available as a 350 sbc in 1980. the hp rating was 185 hp.

I'm not a 100 % sure on this one but i think it was 285 on that one or real close to it,good luck.
