I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer 4x4 four door. I think they said it was an s-10 or t-10 or something. I'm figuring it's about 17 gallons but how can I be sure?

Hi, I live in New England, so its freezing outside, and the heat in my van has stopped working. I don't have the money to go to the mechanics right now. I wonder if there is something I can do myself to fix it.. or some alternative until I can bring it in.. It is a 1999 Chevy Astro Van LS The air conditioner works fine, and I check the fluids all the time.. I noticed that it runs with the temp. gauge a little over the half way mark.. I do not know it that is normal.. And.. it tends to work sometimes when I am going on a long trip and the tank is full. But I not when I run errands all day.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY THE AXLES ON MY TRUCK?
I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ARE THE ORIGIONAL
I bought a 1977 Chevy Stepside with a 350 (5.7) around a year ago and need to replace the axle "U" joint on the drivers side with the appropriate parts. Truck is used as a 4x4 mud runner.

I was replacing my serpentine belt and realized i needed a new automatic tensioner. As i was tightening the bolt to put the new one on, the bolt broke and is now stuck in the hole with no access to it. what are some solutions on either getting the bolt out or re-routing the belt/tensioner so i dont have to pay A LOT of money to fix this thing.

I need some new tires for my truck,a nd am looking at several different tires. I want something that looks pretty aggressive, but still will last on the road. I really dont wan tto spend over $150-170 on one tire, so what is cheap and looks good? I really dont get into mud alot, but i do some, so i do want something that will do decent in mud. Ive been looking at Cooper Discoverer ST and STT, Wild Country TXR's and Pro Comp All terrains. I am running the stock rims, so i am looking at 285's on the stock 16 inch rims. Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Thanks.

I've got an '88 chevy silverado, standard cab longbox. I have a brand new bed for it that needs to be put on. I've been told there's 4 bolts that hold on the bed, but I think they were thinking of the older model silverados. I looked under the bed, and I can find 6 that look like they hold it on. I was curious if anyone knew exactly how many are holding it on. Thank you!

I bought a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. There were no problems until I filled up the gas tank and the check engine light came on. I had my independent garage put it on their computer and it came back as an "evaporative engine leak" (I think that is the term). I went to a chevy dealer and had the same result with the diagnosis that I needed to replace the entire gas tank.

This was done and all was well until I got the first tank of gas again. Check Enginne light came on. My independent guy put it on the computer - same error. They turned it off and it stayed off until I got gas again. Same scenario and all was well until I got gas again this morning and the light is back on.

My car will probably not pass inspection if that error remains and light is on. What might be the problem and possible soultion? Any ideas at all?

I have a question, let me see if I can explain it right. Does anyone know if if the frame on a 1995 Chevy Lumina includes the bar between the driver side doors?

i also have a sluggy substance in my oil cap, i thought my head were probably cracked, but two of my automotive teachers from school said, that wasn't the problem. it was from the water not vaporizing right, or the pcv wasn't operating correctly

My Chevy Cobalt 06 LT, (not LS like I thought) is supposed to play burned MP3 cds but everytime I try to burn a cd and play them, they don't work! Is there a specific cd or program I need to burn them correctly? Doesn't exactly describe it in the manual much, just that it DOES play MP3s. Oh and I don't mean just 12 songs, I mean the data method and you can have like 100 songs on 1 cd type deal with the song name scrolling and all that, just to clarify, thats what I think of when it says MP3s not just normal burned cds. Also this option is standard from what I've been seeing, looks like the original stock cd player, and no input jack so I have to use a CD or some gizmo to transfer from a device to radio station but I hate when it cuts in and out. Hope thats enough to clarify, thanks for the answers from my other question but I couldn't update that one.

I am trying to help my dad find a 1958 chevy biscayne like the one he just sold.It was candy apple red with an impala steering wheel. It was perfect with edelbrock performance parts and it had really nice side pipes. The car when it was first produced in 1958,must have been a really nice car because of the way my dad desrcribed it.
