It was a tank! try for an Impala or Belaire, Because Biscane was the cheepest Chevy full size sedan those teardrop tail lights were really neat. None ever came with a 350 V-8 most had the 283 small block some had the 327 and rare units had the 403 big block. And some had three speed manual transmissions and 230 cubic inch in line six cyl engines. All cars are nice in retrospective. There are lots of lowriders driving them still today. It will be very hard to find a good enough example for restoration but not impossable.

You won't find something that was custom built. The 350 block was introduced to the public in 1969...before that it was 327 and before that it was 283 which was in 1958...He or someone built his car which is the only way you will replace it...unless you get his old one back that he just sold (might be easilier than building another duplicate car)....

sadly, the 58 were consider garish, and many were crushed, or beaten down at the dirt track.
too bad- I thought they were better than they got credit for :(

I have been looking for one for 15 years, I cannot afford $35,000 so I do not have one yet! seen real rusted up ones for $3,500-$6,000. good luck!
