I was replacing my serpentine belt and realized i needed a new automatic tensioner. As i was tightening the bolt to put the new one on, the bolt broke and is now stuck in the hole with no access to it. what are some solutions on either getting the bolt out or re-routing the belt/tensioner so i dont have to pay A LOT of money to fix this thing.

Just to add to these answers, if you do not have room to drill it with a regular drill and small bit, use an angle drill. Also if you can dill it, instead of using an easy out, start with a small drill bit and a match tap and tap the hole out. Then move one size up in drill bits, re-drill and re-tap with the proper size tap. You may have to do this a few times. To ensure that you have success check the size of the bolt, that was originally in in the hole both dia and the depth and the thread pitch and you should be able to re tap it to the original size hole. Other secrets are to use oil and follow all tapping instructions.. Remember success is getting the hole dead centre the first time and do not force the drill bit. Tap and thread slowly, some in some out.

Take a small drill bit and drill a small hole into the middle of the bolt then buy an easy out. Good luck in the bolt removal. (ps. Dont forget to shoot some WD40 or some sort of lubricant on the old bolt to help lossen it.
