hard to remember the 93, but if you had to switch the turn
signal lever to dim the lights, then the switch is on the steering
column. should be a rod going from the TS switch down the
column to it. a dealer could tell you for sure if that is the location. it is the most likily cause.

check your solenoids under the hood it is called the electrical center their you will find the fuses and solenoids for the cars vital electrical systems. When you remove the cover look for one that seas brights or head lights or some thing like that and try replacing it with a new one don't switch it with any of the other solenoids because you can mess up the computer or other systems. If that don't work that it could be the switch for your brights you can easily get all these parts at your local auto part store.

Brake light switch by the brake pedal is either bad or needs adjusting....follow the pedal up from the bottom and you will see a switch with a plunger that contacts the pedal...with the pedal at rest, the plunger should be fully depressed, if not, adjust the switch by screwing it in it's mounting clip to get the plunger to depress or check it by depressing it manually and have a friend see if the lights go out. If they don't, the switch is bad.
