i have hooked it up to a battery charger and everything it used to turnover but now it doesnt

Check all the cables , make sure that the battery is charged up and try to start if doesn't work rock the car back and forth with a buddy then try to start it that doesn't work u eather have a bad starter or battery

First check the battery cables. Make sure they are corrosion free and tight. The corrosion may go down into the wire under the insulation. Clean with baking soda and water.

Next I would consider the starter. This part is a pain. Disconnect the battery. Remove the starter. Bring it to any major auto parts store. They will test it for free. If it is bad, you needed to bring it in for the core charge anyway. If it is bad, replace the starter.

Neutral safety switch may be bad..try moving the shift lever while trying to start or put it in neutral. Could also be a bad ignition switch, starter or cables are loose/corroded.

really...make sure really in park....clean battery cables....then mess with starter

try turning the key ....with it in park
