I have 2005 RX 330 with Navigation but without the Levinson Audio and without DVD system.

Does anyone know the steps to installing a Bazooka Amplified Subwoofer?

I need to know if I need to buy an adapter from Lexus for the audio out and where to tap into the car to feed the sub Power as it will be in the trunk.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

We bought a used 2000 Dodge Durango some time back and the speaker in the right rear passenger door sounds like it is loose in its mounting - bass sounds make it rattle. Is there a simple (ie even I could do it) way to remove the door panel and re-mount the speaker or should I just throw in the towel and pay someone to do it?

Thanks!

When i check out peoples finished audio setup i see amps, woofers, speakers, blah blah blah, and then out of nowere theres a fire extinguisher.

Thats like going to a concert and you see cool people, the bands, the speakers, than out of no were theres a fire man standing right next to the lead singer.

I would understand it on a maxed out tuner or race car. because engine's can actually egnite.

But i've never herd of a amplifier lighting a guys car on fire.

Am i missing something here???

So far I went to one store and they told me I could only use 6X8 in all 4 doors. I have no idea how that would sound; doesn't sound like much bass power.

I'll turn on my car radio and it works fine, but then suddenly the sound cuts out -- it sounds like the radio station stops suddenly, but it's the radio. I'll shut it off and turn it back on and sometimes it'll work again, but not for very long. Maybe it's some sort of short? It's the stock radio in a 1994 Pontiac.

My car has the cutouts for speakers in the back, but there's no wiring. How difficult would it be to run some wiring back there to install some speakers? What would be involved?

Can you give me any tips or advice?

Thanks!

Hey! I just picked up a '96 Cavalier (only $400 ;) and the speakers in the doors are pretty crappy! I want to put in some older speakers I had from my last car. I can't seem to get the door panel off though because I can't figure out how to remove the window crank and the handle that opens the door from the inside.

How can I go about doing this?? Any help would be appreciated!

I have a 2000 VW Jetta TDI. The guy who sold it to me said it was the base model. The stock stereo sounds decent, also has a stock CD changer. How can I tell if it is the Monsoon system? Is the Monsoon system better?

The original owner thought it was a great! idea to cut the harness conector off the factory harness and now I dont know what cables go where, I know the E.I.A color standards but the colors on the factory harness are way too multi-colored.

The display on my 2000 Grand-am radio stopped working. The radio and cassette work fine. I replaced the radio but the display in the replacement also doesn't work...even though it was confirmed working prior to it being installed in my car.

Could there be a wiring issue with my car? Perhaps a fuse or relay or something? I doubt that the problem is with the radio itself.

Any help would be appreciated.
