Why not upgrade to a CD?

It's no more than starting at $80 for a replacement CD or tape player. Usually the shops around here will do free installment and their prices are lower than list. Plus they often have lesser known brands for less.

It is not worth it to have your Tape Player fixed. $100 min to put on the counter. And the labor cost and part's, "IF" repairable will cost you the same as if you went out to buy one.

Save your money, by a NEW system, and if your really into the tapes, there are systems that will take both Tapes & CD's.
