My car has the cutouts for speakers in the back, but there's no wiring. How difficult would it be to run some wiring back there to install some speakers? What would be involved?

Can you give me any tips or advice?

Thanks!

Open the door and look down. The plate has screws in it. take out the screws and you now have a channel the runs the whole length of the car. Once you run the wiring from the front to the back be sure to tie up the wires in the trunk as you don't want a shifting load to break your connection.

Unscrew the floor plates and panels and push the wire under the carpet from the dash to the back seat sides. Leave enough extra loose on the ends to work with, about and extra 1 foot length, at each speaker opening. Should not take more than 30 minutes to wire the whole car.

you can easily run speaker wire down the drivers side. Unscrew the door plate and tuck it into the carpet. Up the side of the back seat. And to the trunk.

well you could pull off the plastic that goes along the door sill, and run the wiring under the carpet right back to the back seat, then up along under the seat and it should be ok.
