When I burn C.D.'s they will only play to the 10th track. Then the C.D. won't track. They play just fine on my house stereo. Any ideas?

It is a dual car stereo... is there anywhere I can buy just the face, and not the whole thing - bc it retails at $80 or so on ebay, and i dont want to have to pay for installation??

I installed 9 LED's into my car with a wire run from the battery.


Battery---15A fuse---20A switch---LED---LED---6LED cluster---LED---Ground


(Sorry about the text diagram) That's how I did it. There's 20 guage wire in between each LED and the switch (it was all I had). I tested the switch with my multimeter and got nothing. I did a cross check to see if the meter worked with the battery and it read normal. The lights are so dim I almost couldn't see them at 10:00pm. Am I running to large a wire? Am I running too many lights? Am I just screwed?

Hey, im gonna be installing an alpine headunit in my friends 1995 Ford FSeries Pickup tommorow and im just looking for any info ahead of time so i can do it quickly and painlessly. I just hooked up my 2 12" subwoofers in my vehicle. However, I will plug the amp into the battery and the car will just die after a few minutes of play. Even when its running. Somebody said it is my groundwire being too long. Could this be possible?

Normally, you flip down the face, press that little button on the left, and the disc ejects. Now it only changes to Radio, but disc remains inside. Can't find the usual pin hole for emergency eject.
Any good advice how to get the CD out manually?
Could it be an electronic hang-up that requires me to disconnect (and then re-connect) the car battery?

I'm trying to install aftermarket LED's into my car that operate on a switch. I've tried to wire them through the cig lighter that I don't use, and blew a fuse. I tried wiring them into the guage lights, and now I don't have any guage lights (also, how could I get them back? there's no fuse for them). If I were to run a wire from the battery, using an inline fuse, and grounding (a similar setup to running wires for an amp) would that work or would I fry my car?

i have a honda civic 93, i bought a cd and try to install it with the help of www.installerdr.com. but the cd does not power up and one thing which new happened is the "clock" on dashboard gone too dim

If i buy a 4 channel amp can i use 2 channels for 6x9s and then another channel for a sub maybe bridging 2 channels for the sub or do i need 2 seperate amps wit a power cap.
