what you need to do is remove the radio and all the speakers and interior pannels and check the speakers for holes or blows see by running a low volt energy through the speakers wire hook up neer the magnet to make sure its not the problem also buy an amplifier for more power for sound and more power in the radio and if none of that works then get a new radio

My car stereo did not work either when I first installed it myself. What I did not realize was that there was a factory installed amplifier in my car. I ended up taking the car to an installer and all they did was to wire the power for the amp into the power input for my stereo.

My stereo does not have a power output for an amp.

That fixed my issue.

Take care,
Troy

The volume mechanism is always the first to go in any radio, You can either have it fixed and get charged money or replace it with a brand new unit.
