20K ohm PER VOLT??? I have to ask, what does one have to do with the other? Resistance is resistance. A good meter - analog OR digital - will tell you the resistance reliably. Also, a good meter - analog OR digital - will tell you voltage. Nearly all meters have batteries. For testing resistance the meter sends a voltage through it and measures (based off of a resistor network) the voltage drop across the resister in test. It will tell you what the ohms are. Some meters use a 9 volt battery, others use 3 volt button batteries, still others use a couple AA or AAA batteries. (to name a few). What are you testing or trying to do? Hope this helps. You can find one at any large chain auto parts store and also radio shack sells them. Buy over the net. Im sure you could buy one no matter what country you look up on the net.
