In this modern age of mp3 players, digital recording and stereo sound why do the bling bling chav crowd insist on playing music through the mono speaker on their mobile phones...why do they elect to listen to their music through such an inferior sound system... I mean at least in the 80's when peoplpe had ghetto blasters...the sound quality was at least worth it...even if you did not like the music! Why do they do it?

I have the Griffin AM/FM adapter for my iPod video and as I was looking at all of the things at target and online I realized that there is a charger/adapter/mounter in one that is around 100 dollars and I figured that I could get the 10 dollar vent mount and use the griffin adapter I already have but I would really like to solve this problem that I have with it. When I use it it broadcasts a weak sound for the volume that it is at, but the base is at the same volume as it is for the radio so I can't turn it up without busting my speakers. Is there a way I can fix this? ALSO, I need to get a finish repair for all the stratches on the screen and back and get a case that will still alow the Griffin adapter to stay plugged into the iPod, what are your recomendations for this?

i want it to sound like the artist is right next to me in the car i want it to play all types of music really clear i don't think i need any more than one 10 for base i want to be able to hear i when i am older so i want as much clarity in the music as i can get no static no nothing................. just crisp and clear

I want a decent mid-range in-dash cd player that is Sirius compatable and has an aux input in the front for an iPod,i am curiuos who is the better brand, sony, JVC, pioneers, etc..in a $150-200 price range.

I've tried the MECP website, and they link me to the CES website that I can't do anything with, problems with connections, restricted access, unable to make/activate an account, you name it. I checked on eBay, but I found only one basic installer study guide for $99.95 and it retails for $24.95 through MECP. What can I do?

I am asking because I do not know the model # of my head unit, and I see several faceplates on eBay that look very similar to mine. My worry is that I will purchase one of these and although it will fit it will not function.

If it is the same brand and it fits the head unit despite being a different model # will it work or no?

In my Camaro, there were a few wires not hooked up under the hatch area (in the trunk). One set of wires that was tucked away under the plastic trim was an ethernet style cable bundled with 4 wires. Each of the wires ended in a special white plasic plug (the kind that will only fit into certain holes, used for specialized applications).

I need to know what type of device uses these connections. I was thinking maybe a nitrous controller, with the phone cord being some type of display.

What is this?

The "Trunk" in my Scion xB is about 38 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and about 20 inches tall until it comes over my rear view windshield.

( 38*12*20 ) / (12^3) is a little over 5 cubic feet.

What is the best set up I can do, for the loudest that is.
I currently have a 12" and four 8", but the box I have now i way to big for it, and sucks balls, I was thinking about upgrading.

My stock cd player in my camaro wont play sound it has like a low pitched sound. When it is on accesory and engine not running, when you turn it up all the way you can hear the sound a little bit. Anyone know what could be wrong? It like on the tv when its on mute but can barely hear it

I have two 12" subs in the truck of my car, I want to hear the singing more in the music, or maybe it would be called the "highs". Does this mean i have to put in tweeters? and How many watts does a tweeter really need to be in order for them to be heard? Amp. i have is about 300 watt. Is there other suggestions? Where do u suggest i put the tweeters if needed? thanks

Hi, I've had my comp fo r2 years already and now my comp has issues...
It is always blacking out every 4 - 6 seconds... however sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't... before it blakc out the monitor screen becomes dimmer and it blacjs out... if I hit the refresher button the screen reappears but it will eventually black out...

plaese do tell me the problem and how to fix it
