Audio shops can make custom enclosures to fit behind the seats - but you need a sub that needs little volume in a box. You need to see what kind of cu. space you can get in a box and what subs are good matches for it.

In a normal cab, an 8" sub should be more than enough to complete a "normal" system.

Its going to be a case of trying and seeing.
First things first...you will need a sub or 2 that work within a small enclosure...eg Infinity perfect 10 good sub I have one but not cheap.
Second you need to look all around the rear of the truck to see any poss place to fit the box,as subs don't work as well hanging from a shelf and they are very weighty ,,I managed to get 2 10 inch sub behind the bench seat in a Nissan pick up don't be put off take your time and weigh up the options
Next you will need to install a good and powerful amp don't go to cheap on the amp because if you do you will lose some of the ooophhaa if you know what i mean.
That's about it ,the key is to take your time and try all the options before you commit to the finale install...Good Luck and let us know how you got on

You can always put it in the bed of the truck if it won't fit behind the seats. Or you can accept that a sub woofer has no place in a pick up if it isn't an extended cab.

yeah, your last option should be going to crutchfield...

go to a local car audio store and ask them what they can do for you. i take it you have a bench seat in the back that can flip up.

i have an '06 dodge ram quad cab, and i put my fiberglass box under my rear seats. so take a look under there.

i really dont think you can fit big subs in your truck without total customization. go to the store, tell him you would like to put some subs in and ask him what they can do and for how much. they will most likely tell you to stick with 10's or smaller.

i paid 400$ for my box. i got a great deal. the job usually costs 500-700$ depending on where you go. so if you can get a box for 500$ or less, go for it.

good luck!

go to crutchfield.com, they have sub encloseres to fit most trucks. I had the same problem, i have a regular cab pickup and no room for a sub, they sell an enclosure that fits a 10" sub behind the seat.

you ought to inspect the JL Audio W5, its a 13.5 inch subwoofer that enables very shallow mounting, performs in a small chamber enclosure and sounds large and pounds! That sub will shop you a ton of area without sacrificing any sound rigidity point or sound high quality. Their amps are very extreme-high quality too, fantastically their HD and cut down sequence, fantastic sound high quality, rock soild durabiltiy, remarkable potential, and remarkable cooling technolgies! Memphis audio is yet another stable company to make your mind up from alongside with Alpine, sunset, DC audio, digital Designs, MMATS professional audio, ARC Audio, Hertz, Audison. between all the companies I indexed my quantity one selection is JL Audio, 2nd is Audison, 0.33 is Hertz.

alpine make a really compact amp and sub package that is designed to go under neith a standard seat. they aparently kick out about 150 watts of power. and cost about a hundred pounds.
i have no idea of the performance of them i never seen one in a car but i supose if you had a couple of them they wouldnt be to bad?
