If i buy a 4 channel amp can i use 2 channels for 6x9s and then another channel for a sub maybe bridging 2 channels for the sub or do i need 2 seperate amps wit a power cap.

Not wise. The sub will most likely required mor power than the 6X9's. Always match the total watts RMS between sub(s) and amp and the calculated impedance (ohms).

only cord the sub to a minimum of one channel and parallel the 6X9's to the different channel. If the 6X9's are a minimum of four ohm you are going to be ok. the biggest venture is that a single channel on maximum 2-channel amps won't grant adequate capability for a sub.

One amp is enough depending on the size and watt of the sub. if its like a 12 sub than it should be fine if u bridge it

Yes you can, but you'll need to put in a crossover for the sub.

that would be silly to do so...
your subs gonna sound like crap, and you may blow your 6x9's
