I am interested in purchasing a vehicle with a list sticker price (including options) at a price of $65,000. With tax and licensing the cost of the purchase would be $70,000. If I put down $65,000 (all at once..no financing) will the dealership get some kind of discount and will be able to waive the $5000 in tax and licensing? In other words will I be able to get a deal if I put down the entire list price of the vehicle and get a discount off of tax and licensing (assuming the dealership will pay for it)?

I despriatly need a new car! My car is in decent condition but its a 99, and i'm having problems with the radiator. I am also paying WAY to much for it! so i wanted to buy a new car where my monthly payments will be lower, and i wanted to buy a new one just for the simple fact that i would like one. I have no problems paying for the car or anything the only problem is that im not 18 yet and my mom has bad credit and can not co-sign for a loan for me rite now. I cant think of anything to do because i dont really know of anyone who is in a good financial state and that would actually do it...does anyone know of anything i could do??

I purchased a new car a week ago, and I was called on Friday to come back in to the dealership. I knew that meant that I wasn't approved for the financing, and that i was returning the new vehicle. I was prepared to return it and get my trade-in vehicle back, but when I got there they said I didn't have that as an option. They misled me and basically forced me into a car that I didn't want and had me sign a new contract, even though I expressed my dislike in the new car and that I wanted my old car back. I am wondering what, if anything, am I entitled to do. They were in such a rush to get me out the door, that they asked me for my signature on the new contract that was still dated with the original contract date from the week before. Is this even legal?

I went threw one that went so wrong, "bait and switch" That the salesman I was working with actually assalted the dealership owner, and quit his job. (a mitzubishi dealer in Sycamore illinois that is no-longer in bussiness.) Plus, I had to file grand theft charges with the Police that they stole my trade-in, by dealer trading it before the deal was finial.
I have the title to that trade-in vehical still.

There is a car for sale in my area that is a 1998 Nissan Sentra GXE, it is a 5 speed. The car is in excellent condition except the clutch always vibrates. What could cause this. It shifts fine and nothing else seems bad on the car. He also replaced the transmition if that has anything to do with it. Any theories on what could cause it. Thanks

I am asking because my credit is weak but my income is very good. I would really like to finance the car that I want with the dealership looking at my income instead of credit.
