I despriatly need a new car! My car is in decent condition but its a 99, and i'm having problems with the radiator. I am also paying WAY to much for it! so i wanted to buy a new car where my monthly payments will be lower, and i wanted to buy a new one just for the simple fact that i would like one. I have no problems paying for the car or anything the only problem is that im not 18 yet and my mom has bad credit and can not co-sign for a loan for me rite now. I cant think of anything to do because i dont really know of anyone who is in a good financial state and that would actually do it...does anyone know of anything i could do??

Keep the old car until you can establish your own credit. Life will not end because you have an old car.

Wow, who doesn't want a new car? You're not going to save any money by buying a new car, especially if you are a minor and you don't know anyone with good credit. Fix the radiator and pay off the car you have. Provided YOU are paying through an institution, and not your daddy, it should build credit. Your car is a 99... and you are paying way too much for it? What do you think you will be charged for a 2007 model? Do yourself a favor, don't ever buy a new car. Buy a certified used car, 2 or 3 years old with 20K miles on it. Not only is this cheaper, but you can usually manage to afford a better model then if you purchased it new.

There are car companies out there that will take people with bad credit. You will have to pay more in interest rates but the opportunity is out there. Otherwise work with a credit company that will help you improve your credit ratings. Also you can save up a large down payment that will help you get the deal. Money is king. With money on hand you have options. Money will give you negotiating power and so will your credit.

i think you would be hard pressed to find a car note any cheaper than that. i wish my car note was $260! wow! especially if you are trading it in, you could end up upside down on it and have an even higher note. i'd fix the radiator (aren't those like $80??) and deal with it, you are 17, wait until you are more established to be worrying about trading up... just my humble opinion...

If you simply want a new car you will just have to simply have to figure out a way to get one--or not. Bad credit is, unfortunately, contagious and getting good credit is one way of being able to get a new car when you want one.
