At 230,000 miles, there isn't much left in that rig. Get some help from a reputable independent mechanic to go over the rig, gonna cost you a couple of bucks, better than gettin zapped 5,000 miles later.

If it were me, PASS! That's a ton of mileage for that vehicle. Get the car fax report (see below). It will detail any major problems noted to that car.

If your getting it from a dealership the lemon law applies up to 18months or 18,000 miles, I suggest getting the book "Lemon Protection Identifying a Lemon" from Lemonprotection.com its worth every penny and can save you a lot of pain.Good Luck and GOD Bless.

At 230k any dealership will not even look at it for a trade in......better do some research before you get taken. Kelly blue book is a good resource....but go low.
