Consumption is less than one Euro per 100Km (Approx 0.75 Euro, according to use, i.e. about a tenth that of a petrol car). This makes it an attractive prospect for any driver, professional or not.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As no combustion takes place, there is no pollution. Its mileage is about double that of the most advanced electric car (200 a 300 Km or 10 hours of driving), a factor which makes a perfect choice in cities where the 80% of motorists drive at less than 60Km.

Refilling the car will, once the market develops, take place at adapted petrol stations to administer compressed air. In 2 or 3 minutes, and at a cost of approximately 1.5 Euros, the car will be ready to go another 200-300 kilometres.

I am looking at vehicle in the 1990's, some of the better made cars seem to be in 110K range in mileage. What is considered too high?

I'm thinking of trading in my 05'Nissan for a used car, maybe an 03' or 02' Toyota...would that hurt my credit? And would I be able to get a better deal as far as lower monthly payments?

It's a '96 Dodge Interepid that was used for commuting to college and has almost ALL highway miles on it. It's in absolutely perfect (inside and out) condition, except the A/C doesn't work. It has a new radiator, brakes, and front tires. It runs like a dream and looks and drives like a new car. The only catch: It has 267,000 miles on it.
I need it to last the 4 years I'm going to college (about 40 miles round trip 3 days a week)-- do you think it's worth the risk? It costs $1300.

Thanks!!

My mother is actually purchasing the car so I can get the best apr, and she's been gung ho about it for months, until now. The dealer brought in for me from a different state w/no charge, its cleaned and waiting for me to pick it up, but my mother is now "on a business trip" and not available. I've spoke with her and she claims to be just "too busy" to take 5 minutes to do the online credit app. I put $500 down on the car so they would hold it for me, but the car is in extremely high demand, and could be sold in a day if it were made available. Also, because of the 2007's coming within the next couple of weeks, to find another car like mine would be next to impossible. I know for a fact that there isn't another one like it for sale in six states around me. Im just nervous that this might take a few more days, and I dont want to lose the car. Thanks.

I live in CT and purchased a car from a NY state dealer. Since I purcahsed the car after the DMV was closed for the day, the dealer told me they would have to overnight me the title by mail.

Was it a wise decision to purchase the car from them without giving me the title directly as I gave them the money (check)?

I have:

The car
Bill of sale
Odometer reading statement
New York State "In-Transit" registration
Insurance card (car is insured by me)

I'm not doubting that the dealer will send me the title, but I am just preparing for the worse (they don't send me the title). Am I the rightful owner? Was it wise to do this? Is this standard practice?

After 30 days the temp registration is up and I can't even drive the car anymore! I need the title in order to register the car in CT!

how long does the car buying process usually take once you decide on the car you want and they submit the paperwork to the finance company? also, can you be rejected for financing even if you have a co-signer with excellent credit?

I was told that by calling GM, for example, I could recieve a free VIN check on the car and possibly notification of entire history. Any help would be great!

A lady friend that I have known for a long time wants to buy a car....so she went to a Dealer and thought the prices were too high on the new one's...so she looked at the used one's..with low mileage ...her credit suffered some when her husband died....she found one that she likes for $17,000 and has $9000 to put down and can make payments on this car. she would have to finance the balance...the sales person says that his credit manager is trying to get her financed....but never calls her..she says that she always has to call him and gets a run-a-round......any suggestions on how to get financing...or suggestions on what she should do? "O" Wise One is not wise on this one.

I have a 1998 Pontiac Trans Sport that I owe $6900 on, my payments are $370 a month. Is there away to trade it in, pay off the balance and get a new car? Some people have told me to take it to a dealership and tell them the story and see if they would take it as a tarde in and put the previous balance tward another car. Is that possible? If so, where should I go and what kind of car should I get? Please keep in mind I have poor credit.

He said the car was at a "Yahoo Shipping Center" Does this center exist? How do I verify that this is a valid offer to sell and that I will not be ripped off? The ad dissappeared from the yahoo listings that afternoon, so I don't have a lot of details. I have the name and e-mail of the owner. He also is selling this car at a GREATLY reduced price for a reason he will not disclose. I am suspicious. Please advise. Thanks

But I was wondering if this is a good car for a new driver, meaning are they reliable? And how is the gas. Also would a vw golf or jetta be a better option, my friend has one and its great.
