when a money transaction is made through western union and squaretrade is done
and you sent squaretrade a control number.do they contact you
back and confirm that they recieved the number.

No they don't.
You can check (status) if the payment was received by the receiver by going on to their website.

Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)
Sender First Name
Sender Last Name

No, of course not. Western Union (learn how to spell, that would help) does as little as possible, and is not known for their customer service. Only if you pay an extra fee do they ever do anything extra.
