Hello,

I have a unique product but it is an apparel product that could be easily replicated and modifiyed to perform the same function while getting around a patent. Does anyone know if it is still worth getting a patent done for this or is it a waste of money and it would be best to just be first to market?

Thanks,
Matt

I work for a small company and we are having problems collecting bills. We have a large amount of money that is outstanding. The president wants us to start calling people 15 days after they have received service to make sure that they are going to pay and then every week after that until they pay.

I don't know if that is a good idea but I don't have any better ideas.

What do you do for your business or what are your suggestions?

I'm wanting to pick up and leave right now. I'm not commited to anything. I have no direction at this point. I'm not looking into signing up for some dumbass cult thing, NO, nothing like that.
I am artistic, loyal, honest, hard-working, passionate, a lover of animals and hortorculture (sp?), crafts, music, history, space, movies, food, and, that's all I can think of right now, oh, except my Mom and Dad.
My downsides are that, I do smoke and drink on the weekends, alot, I can be a bit of a perfectionist, as well as opinionated. I don't hold any secrets, and I do believe in disciplining children with respect to them, however, I don't especially want to deal with children, as well as an adult who acts like one.
I am a Navajo Indian woman, 44 years of age. I weigh 175 lbs. I laugh alot, all the time. I am deeply traditional in my thinking, and am proud of my heritage. I am educated in school, as well as the street.
Who then, has any ideas of where I might fit in? Thanks.

I know that you can put up a windmill or two on your property to reduce your own power consumption if you live in a rural area. the question is, can i build 10 of them to create more power than i use and sell the power for profit? the world needs clean energy and I'm interested in an investment. what are the rules?

I have some software that is designed for real estate developers and I have share it with some to get some feedback and see if there has been any value. The response was very positive and I was told repeatedly that they would be willing to pay for the software. To be clear, toe software is tied into my site so I am able to maintain who is using it and whether they are permitted to use it.

In short, here is what I am considering.
-I could sell the software individually

-I could sell the software on a subscription basis

-I could give the software away free, build up a massive base of customers, and make money via advertising or just selling the company (the youtube strategy I suppose).

Taking the 3rd approach, if I was able to get up to 100,000 users, how is the company evaluated?

Over a million dollars? And would you have to have a really successful job and be making atleast $100,000 a year, to take out such a huge loan? Also does education matter, when taking out loans? If I had a bachelors degree, would it affect my likeliness in getting a loan?
