I recently started an online store. I've had plenty of visitors who've spent a long time on the site but no buyers. I'm thinking it's because no one trusts me because I'm new and not a big named company. Anyone have any suggestiong of how I can get my reputation up so people will start buying? I'm already using Paypal for my shopping cart.

My sister and I are considering starting up a new venture and eventually opening up our own business. We both, for years, have been crafty and creative and she has her own line of bath products and I have my line of gift baskets and gifts in a jar. Do you have any advice or tips you might want to share? We are in the Central Valley in California and would have even thought about more or less Internet selling to begin with, but obviously we are pretty new to the retail selling part outside of bazaars and boutiques both locally as well as those we travel to. Any thoughts? Thank you much!

I want to advertise my services and offer consultancy to care providers. I've got the company name, know the business plan etc. But I'm confused!!

I'm keeping my full time job so its just a few hours on the side. Do i need to register the business as a sole trader? Or can I just register the business name at Companies House? I like the name so I don't want anyone to nick it!!

At what stage can I open up a company bank account?

What month do I tell Inland Revenue about how much I earned?

You can get everything online now, but one big exception is haircuts. I could be the first to offer online haircuts and corner the market. I will become very wealthy like the guys who invented Google.
PS- please don't steal my idea.

I am selling an item on ebay and I just got this message, it sounds like a scam to me but I want a second and third opinion the following is the message : "hello seller, I am urgently in need of your item and i shall be offering you $300 and additional $200.00 for USPS/EMS express maill shipping cost of the items to my store in west africa, when you have the money cleared ok.i will be making an the payment through cashier check So if you are ok with this arrangement you end the auction and get back to me with your full name and address and also phone number so i can send the check to you asap. thanks." Now, the opening bid is $100 and the shipping is $35, so the large amount of money is suspicious...is this a scam?
