So, pretty much my life goal is to visit Rome;
(I'm extremely interested in its history)
Today I was just informed about a trip my teacher is holding GOING to Rome
Its a great oppurtunity that i don't want to miss, but the cost is at most $3,000 including food and hotel exspenses
I need this money by early March
Do you think I can make this?
And do you have any ideas how I can?
I just went job hunting today, and am soon to be applying to Publix, and Windixie but both places have limited hours.

I've also decided to start selling chocolate in school, which can make up to $50 a week (at the least)

Any help apprieated!Thank you!

Went to the ATM a few weeks ago to take out 300 dollars machine only gave me 280 I dispute the difference of 20 dollars, the bank says the audited the machince and it was correct, no difference in money. How do banks audit their machines? is it possible the bank thinks the machine is correct but really did screw me out of 20 dollars? Also what is my next option in fighting this (I know I was only given 280 thats a fact)

Until recently I worked at a company with no pension plan. So I started a stakeholder about six years ago.

Now I have moved to a new company that has a pension plan - and they'll make contributions based on how much i contribute.

My question is this, shall I:

a. move my stakeholder over into the company plan
b. keep the stakeholder where it is - but start paying into the company plan
c. keep going with the stakeholder and don't do anything

Now I am sure a or b is the answer - but any guidance would be muchos appreciated!

I don't know why, but this was wandering through my mind this morning. I'm curious to know what percentage of your income goes to housing, and where you all live. I don't need any details, just a percentage.

I'm in CA.
Putting 27% of my annual salary toward housing.

many people like to save money for emergencies, or in preperation of makind a majorpurchase; others don't belive in saving, they say that money loses its buying power very quickly, so it's a good idea to spend money as soon as it's earned.

I currently have a few thousand dollars just sitting in the bank in a savings account, not growing or anything. Is there anything else I could do with it that is a safe investment but will still get me a higher rate of return?

I've been reading all these articles about people trying to get out of debt because they can never pay off their credit card balance, people living paycheck to paycheck, or those that doesn't have enough savings for their retirement.

Just wondering how many of you out there are really this much in trouble? If you don't gamble and use your money wisely, poeple should be able to save. I'm lucky to say I don't know anyone this much in trouble yet. So, is media just exaggerating?

It is such a beautiful ring, tiffany set in platinum over 2 carats and GIA certified, appraised for approx $20,000. This is probably the only piece of jewelry like this I will ever possess, but the sale of this ring would really help me out of a financial jam I am in right now and I kept the ring from a break up about 5 years ago. It does have sentimental value, but I am facing a foreclosure, and in collections on 5 credit cards due to being laid off in January, still not working yet. Should I sell it? I took it to a place where they gave me a loan of $5000 to hold it until Jan, now I need to get the $5000 to get it out and the balance when I deliver it to whoever buys it. Does anyone know a reputable place in NYC that will pay what it is worth? What else can I do to get out of debt?
