My former roommate left me with major debt. His truck (which was in my name) got repoed. Now the attorney for Bank of America which held the truck loan is calling wanting 12 thousand dollars. I don't have it or the means of getting it. He left me with other things on my credit as well, including credit cards and rental debt. I'm 34. Am I eligible? My credit is messed up anyway. I would appreciate any suggestions. I'm getting daily calls from the attorney's office and I don't know what to do.

After you have applied for a job, volunteer opportunity, or any other type of application, what happens to that paper with your personal information if you get the job, dont get the job, etc. Is it discarded after a certain amount of time where the company no longer has your information or is it always kept on file forever. I recently applied for a volunteer opportunity and it asked for my social security number, I was reluctant to provide it because I do not want this personal information to fall on teh wrong eyes, I was worrying that if in the future I do lets say come into a lot of money that people in these organizations with my SSN and other personal info can access this info, I want to be safe, can I change my social security number and if so how?

Recently re-married and his (only)daughter is expecting all that her father has. He has invested quite a lot in things and I want to be fair and have him make out a will so that the investment as well as bank money and other things are all stated. My husband read a book on probate and feels it will all go to me automaticly but I think there will be legal problems if he does not make it legal and binding as to what & where he would like the things to go and not leave me with all of the problems.

My son just turned a year old and received some money for his birthday. I would like to start saving this money for him. Should I open a separate savings account for his money? Should I leave it in his piggy bank since it is a relatively small amount? Any other suggestions?

If the partner of a woman gives her a large sum of money when he moves into the womans house and then dies a couple of years later does the family have the right to ask for the money back with interest. The money was a gift and not a loan and there are no signed documents saying otherwise.

I often get $7, $12 or similar worth of Checks from my friends and the bank of America is little far off from my place. I was wondering if a check can be deposited online or not?

if yes how and if not how can I prevent myself from going to the bank to deposit such checks and still accomplish the task.

Thanks and appreciations in advance.
